According to Yelp, "At 4 P.M the Sri Lanka Day Parade will take place with Sri Lankan dancers, drummers, masked performers, flag bearers and a theatre elephant to pay honor to an ancient parade that occurs annually in Sri Lanka."
There will also be tons of booths and Sri Lankan food to enjoy.

"Participants will fill-out an application prior to their audition. Participants will turn in their completed application and one photograph (which must be a close-up of your face – "head shot") then, proceed to audition in front of a camera where you will be asked several questions and requested to "walk" and "model" Fantastic Sams products (provided), for up to 2 minutes on-camera. CBS 2 will submit all eligible on-camera entries. Applicants must be present to apply.
Please note: Participants can receive an optional styling (lasting up to 15 minutes) provided by Fantastic Sams before auditioning in front of the camera. There is no charge for the styling. Participants will be styled in the order in which they line up for the Audition."

When You Wish Upon a Tree
In honor of Yoko Ono's new art installation, Pasadena is inviting you to make a wish on her Wish Trees tomorrow (Sat. Aug. 2nd).
"Wish Tree for Pasadena is an art installation that consists of 21 living crape myrtle trees installed amongst the cafĂ© tables and chairs in the Courtyard of One Colorado. Visitors are invited to write their wishes on pieces of paper and hang them on the tree branches. Yoko Ono’s Wish Tree for Pasadena is FREE and open to the public.
The opening of the Pasadena Wish Tree exhibition will be celebrated by a group of childcare providers from CULTURAL CARE AU PAIR, along with the local children they care for and other members of their host families, giving the event a truly international flavor. The opening occurs Saturday, August 2 at 10:00 A.M. in the One Colorado Courtyard."
