This Friday (Dec. 5th) marks the 75th anniversary of the Prohibition repeal. Being in Los Angeles, bars will be celebrating with ridiculously amazing specials. My favorites:
Comme Ca - email info@commecarestaurant.com for their password, which can be used to redeem 75 cent cocktails
The Golden Gopher - 75 cent Dewar's until 11pm, $5 drink specials afterward
The Edison Downtown - a midnight toast
**8oz Burger Bar (on Melrose) - "adult milkshakes"....not on the menu, so you must ask your server about them
Just remember it's never okay to drive drunk.
