Don't forget the new California law that takes effect today, in which all drivers must operate cell phones hands-free.  If you get caught driving with a phone pressed against your ear, the fines could be pretty hefty.

Dump the Pump Day

That's right, today (Thurs. June 19th) is LA's 3rd annual Dump the Pump Day.  LA transit officials are encouraging everyone to try and use public transportation, since it is the fastest way to lower gas prices.
